Great photos Redzone!! looks like it was another good day.
Hey Mikey great write up in Racing Lines, makes me REALLY pissed now I missed it!!

Just a thought guys re the Neo class, and I don't really mind.... but isn't this class introduced as a budget class?? What up grades are we going with??
I'm just about to start my build and was wondering if anyone has tried to fit a Lipo yet? Looks tight and I'm up at work and don't have a battery with me!

Anyway see you guys soon.....

Cheers,
Foggy

Yes Foggy you are right with the Neo.

At this stage we all have thought to build them stock to start of with apart from bearings and a alloy centre shaft upgrade but this looks like it's not necessary from the looks of Fox Mans.

We haven't settled on a motor so it's up to you. Fox man's is not saying what motor he has installed. Mr XW's is built and just finishing it off. Motor I think will be a 9T EZ Run. Mine will be ready by next meet as well . I'm thinking of a 8.5T that I have waiting to go in . Was thinking of a 9,12 or even a 13t . I really don't care. The more motor the quicker the tyres will flog out.

Speaking of tyres this is open but i say Cailbers will be the go. I'm keeping the tyre package for my new top force I'm building up..Can't wait to see these go. Fox Man said they are really responsive & quick. No problems with Li Po fitment.

See you next Sat week

Doesn't need it HP, the Neo has 1/8 scale technology in the drive train!

5.5 BL no problems...

Hi need some suggestions for 4wd tyres for Boondall - what does everyone recommend for front and rear?

Looking at Prolines - but not attached to any brand in particular

Hey Guys,

No Problems Darren, like I said it doesn't worry me greatly but I just wanted to clarify what everyone is doing!

After a bit of advice.... I built the fox on the weekend and for some reason when I accelerate hard on grass I hear a clicking noise like a gear is slipping or something???
Have I screwed up somewhere with the build??? Wouldn't of thought this was normal??............... I've seen the horse power foxman has put through them!!
Before you ask YES I have put the motor in the right position for the pinion!

Cheers,
Foggy

Andrew Proline Calibers in M4 compound for the rear and M3 compound for the front works well at Boondal withe great grip and long lasting. I say if I have these in my suit case of tyres I will use them.

That is odd, might be worth pulling the gearbox out and reassembling it,does the drive train bind up when you turn it by hand? you might have to book in with DR. Foxman as he has been gearbox guroo lately

Mads right I use Calibers on my Manta Ray and even before the rear end was modified it had plenty of grip they definately are a good 4wd tyre for Boondall
