Another motor that's on offer for those on a budget is the Speed Passion V3 range of motors for $40, whilst not as "fast" as some other motors, it will get you on track and they do work well in F1 cars.

Cheers

I have a few 21.5's at the minute and did a RPM test on them the other day to find out which motor spun the fastest. It was the Speed Passion MMM 21.5 that was faster than any of the others by about 300 RPM. As we all know RPM is only half of the story but i am unable to measure torque. Anyway, might be interesting for those running F1 where torque isn't such an issue.

Cool Performance Motors

Hi all,

The new Tekin 21.5t RPM is a fantastic motor as is the Team Orion VST2 Pro 21.5t.

Both motors are 2350kv.

There must have been something serious going down at the showground entrance last week. haven't seen so many police in one place for a long time.

Haven't heard of anything. Which one was it, the old or new entrance?

Hi Michael I don't know we're you are going with this but if is about legality it is easy if it is on the ROAR motor list it's legal.

Noel,

The castle hill track has an advantage of not being a fixed layout track which allows for a annual change hence providing a new challenge for everyone.
With the driver stand position close to the track, the new layout effects shorter drivers, like my kids, especially when you have 6 foot adults next to you blocking part of your field of vision. I'm sure it's something they will work around.

Trevor asked for feedback on the new layout and I responded on behalf of the boys. Hopefully the feedback will be used for consideration with any future changes.

Thanks for the feed back Fred much appreciated. Maybe we can talk about it at the track this Friday. Also have you considered using the milk crates that the younger drivers can stand on if they have trouble seeing the track.

New entrance. There were a bunch of youths hanging around on Showground Rd. I think there were some walking across the oval earlier in the night.

Yes I noticed that on Friday night. I haven't seen that for some time. Maybe it could be a problem now that the entrance to the show ground is easier access to the public.

Hi TJ,

I made a statement, as far as i know both ate roar approved! I guess it comes down to affordability.

Cheaper motors serve a purpose for some racers!

Especially if you have Rob N or Greg C in your race.

Cheers
