Electrics will do 2.4hrs easy without a motor change.
We have done 2 3hr enduros over here in NZ the winner was either using a 15 or 17turn motor (I can't remember) which easily lasted the distance turning a bit better lap times than our 27turn class (MVP's and such), run time about 7mins for a 3300 pack. thats 450-500 laps of fun.
We ran the Gas cars in a separate event, scale 300km, going to do a scale 500km event this year

No, you will have 2 do a small amount of testing to find the right gearing, but that only amounts to a 2-4 battery long test run. We ran ALOT less timing than what you would normally run but that is mostly to cut down on arcing to make sure the brushes last the distance, the brushes lasting was our only big concern.
I believe that ALL the electric cars finished the race (8 or 9 cars if I remember) but that can't be said of the gas cars.

With some classy drivers in the field this is going to be a sight to see.
Any chance of getting some local press to advertise the event for us Mr Emu?

Hopefully by the time recruitment is finished this race will have about 8 drivers who have in their time been a national or state champion.
Bring it on this is going to be a good night!!

5 spots left, so if you are thinking of entering now is the time.
Whats going on Toothbrush drivers, are none of you game. 15 spots all filled by noisy cars. In the famous words of Mark Gasnier "[email protected]#* me, fire up"
