Thanks to all that came to the Auction last night for raising money for the Kids.
This Sunday I will be proud to hand over a whopping cheque of $3,310, this is not including the race entry fees yet, so I am hoping to hand over at least $3,500.
Yet again PDNR drivers have done the RC community proud and I cannot say enough how as a club I think we are strong, not only in numbers but as a unit that comes together as a whole.
Again thankyou, and if you don't get a chance to go out to Oran Park on Sunday, have a wonderful & safe christmas.
Get those entries, you have got till Friday.

I wonder if anyone can give me an idea on the track layout for Sunday. Is it a long track compared to Penrith, tight or open. just like to have an idea if gearing needs to be changed.
Also the surface, is it bumpy or smooth?
Looking forward, should be a great day.

its fair for all not to know the lay out , as this will be part of the days challenge , to have your car tune on the day for the day

Okay guys & girls
Go to bed early so you can get down to Oran Park bright & early.
Update - track is set up & would suggest min 37 tyres.
We also won't be draggin Matt Maladin he has chickened out.
Steve or myself will be up against a chrysler drag car, we only get 2 runs because first run there will be a noise issue, so they will need to confirm the noise on a 2nd run which then they will have to tell Steve to turn his car off ( only joking) the drag car will need to be shut down.
Saying that some bloke wants to have a go with his street legal drag car.
Bring plenty of sun block and be prepared for a really fun day.

If they are ready on the PDNR web by mid January then I think that would be good enough to the drivers that were there on the day and need to check the overall standings.
A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE DAY AT ORAN PARK.
From the people who attended the auction to the drivers and organisers on the day.
A BIG $4045.55 CHEQUE WAS PRESENTED TO ST GEORGE ROTARY ON THE DAY AND PDNR AS A CLUB SHOULD HOLD THEIR HEAD HIGH KNOWING THAT THIS MONEY IS GOING TO BE USED FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE.
I WISH ALL A MERRY XMAS & A GREAT & SAFE NEW YEAR.

The Charity Challenge results will be available as soon as possible.
To all the patient and appreciative people out there, thanks for your compliments on the Oran Park Charity Challenge, it makes all the organisers happy to know that drivers enjoyed themselves and makes the effort worth it - and this one was especially for the kids...and what a result as posted above $$$ !!!
....when do you propose the results should have been done OX??? perhaps on Sunday immediately after the race meeting between packing up the track Sunday after the race till 8pm...(after a 13 hour race day) preparing for the 2005 championship and the committee meeting on Tuesday night that didn't finish till 12:30am....You wanted the results by Wednesday.... pull your head in throw your spoon away for while.... its not funny any more.....maybe it would help to reminded you that PDNR is a non profit association and as such has no employees, just volunteers!....

Great the kids get their dough....but..........
A quick note as to who won what would not have taken you or Emu longer than the shit you just wrote.
You all publicise your events. but you must also post results.
I dont mean lap by lap 20 seconds after the flag fell, but 4 weeks after as our Mr Emu predicited is crap.
I know we are a non profit organisation, and many bodies work hard to make it happen, but if if volunteers are required I will be the first to volunteer to stick my spoon where it best fits.
Any recipients ready to volunteer?????????

Merry Xmas all..........
