I won the 1996 Victorian Championships with a Kyosho Pure 10. This was long before Serpent or any of the others had cars worthy of racing, lets at least give credit to the originators of 200mm NTs, it was Kyosho.
Be back soon. Rob. |
Why Battery????
Hey Tomas to answer your question,
The engine is infact located further to the right of the chassy and lower than any other car you will see,( this isnt obvious in the picks) this in combination with the different "battery location" makes for a well balanced nitro tourer. as far as who copied who, all cars look similar but different. you will find that there are hardly any parts interchangeable between the Serpent, Kyosho, mugen, NEO etc nitro cars. Infact you dont have to look close to see variations in designs, geometrys layouts etc. Dont get me wrong, to the untrained eye they all look similar, but these design differences are what make all these cars unique in their own way. the only radically different nitro that I can think of is the Associated , once again seems to work but definately unique!!!! Ciao!!! |

Originally posted by David Think you will find Tom that ALL our current Race cars ( Mugen MX2,V1R, Trinity,GT4, Etc,Etc are all Serpent impulse copys :D ;) I would not say copies just in proved on serpents mistakes:D |

Serpent is the current Oz Champ, before the Impulse came along we were running 1500 gram cars designed for pull start engines. The rules then came out with a minimum weight of 1700 grams, yes the impulse took NTs to a new level but that does not make the others copies at all, it just makes the class the largest because of the variety available.

Yes that what i was pointing out not all 1/10 touring gas cars are copies of a serpent.I bet they looked at it.But a Mugen is diffirent to a gt4.And the Vision looks a make of there own with inpovements all over After biulding one.Very nice,Can't wait to see how they performe on the track :D

so kickass what do u think about the vision pro and its differences compared to all the other cars on the market at the moment ?????? :D :D :p
