Raced there for the first time last Saturday, no-one told me not to use a black body shell!! That's my excuse for finishing 4th in the B final. Fluro orange for me next time.

Did you like it? It is really hard to see with a dark car at night. I just painted up a fluro yellow and orange stratus!!

The track is pretty fun. What car/class were you running?

They run Nitro pro & pull-start, electric 540 class, 27 T stock, I ran in the stock class with my black vectra on a TB evo II chassis, never raced at night before, they have floodlights but they aren't that good, maybe it's my eyes, old age getting to me!

Theres talk about running a mod class if they can get enough interest, count me in.

By the way, what tyres are people running there? There seemed to be a lot of people on foams, couldn't get mine to work so I stuck with the rubber.

Ah ha!! Now I know who you are. You stripped like 2 spurs right? I am the guy with the black and orange V1R.

We are also thinking about running a mod class very soon if we can get 3 or more members interested (I am!!) so keep that in mind.

The club is selling foams dirt cheap (about $20 an end) so thats why lots of people are running foams. I run 40 shore front and rear on my gas car. Many of the electric guys run 45 front and 42 rear. Rubber should hook up OK, but you will need very sticky stuff because of the low night time temps.

these are exactly the classes we run at the imcc, and things have never been better!

i think we will probably run a mod class next year.

Come down and race and join the club and we sell them on the night. You must race there though. They are the FAST brand.

You can get nitro from Budget Hobbies in Capalaba. Actually the club makes $0 from the foams thats why we sell to members only sorry. We don't wanna step on the toes of the hobby shops!

We do the same for our club members just to make life a little bit easier on the pocket..
And when the local hobbyshop found out what we had done.... Anyone would think we had slit his throat.........
