Racing in rockingham area, on and off road
Hi,I will be emigrating to Australia within the next 12 months(hopefully!!) and would like to know what clubs are around the Rockingham area. I dont mind a 45min/1hr drive. At the moment I run electric touring car and are just getting into off road, also electric. Any links etc will be helpfull. Thanks

There's nothing in Rockingham for either on or offroad.
3 onroad electric clubs (Bunbury also runs nitro onroad) within striking distance of Rockingham
West Coast, Moojebing reserve, about 45 mins drive north: http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...onroad-wa.html
Bunbury, about an hour or so south of Perth down the freeway: http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...ry-onroad.html
PRECC, races carpet indoors at Swan Park Leisure Centre Gray Drive, Midvale. About a 45 minute drive north along the Kwinana Freeway and then up the Roe highway: http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...-car-club.html

I know very little about offroad, apart from that there are electric offroad tracks at West Coast, Carine and Bunbury. There is an electric 1/8th track almost/is running in Belmont. Nitro 1/8th runs in Canning Vale opposite Ryper Hobbies, and there is also a track in Whiteman Park, which is north of Perth.
Rockingham is ok, plenty of UK expats floating about, relatively cheap and quiet (depending on where you live), with most of the amenities/facilities you need for modern living.
Good luck!
