The TB-02 is not the greatest choice for 540 simply due to the limited ratios that you are bound too. It does well if you can achieve the right ratio but it's finding that ratio thats the problem.

Takes too long to change spurs and pinions, have to pull the car apart, grrrrr

Default New track

Just wondering what the other nitro drivers thoughts were on the new track layout. I thought the back section was too hard for nitro, although the car was handling like crap which did not help at all. I was just idling through that section!

The layout was OK for electric though!

The nitro final was good, congrats to Greg, a well deserved win, and Adam second! using his head instead of the throttle, lol, for a change......not sure where I ended up, driving around with only first gear, car came off at 143 deg C, think I need a better chassis too!

Well keep an eye on the thread

Cheers

David

I can't wait till Sunday. I get to show off my new toy hopefully the X-Ray will be btter luck than the TB-02 was

P.S. Anybody looking for a TB-02 (no shocks, wheels or electronics), a ton of hop-ups (evoIII shaft, universals up front, aluminium motor mount and steering, Carbon center brace etc... plus a ton of spares. I have one going REAL cheap.

After the damage that the TB-02 suffered at Fairy Meadow i had to change. I would still LOVE to get a TRF415MSX but it's not in the budget at the moment. It's Matts old EVO 2 that has been upgraded to almost FK04 specs. Beautiful car
