Hmmm, sounds like alot of potential for some damage on this bus. Just remember that you guys have to play by the rules of the youngest and most uncorrupted present.

I am going to try and get down on the saturday for a bit of practice if possible, however I might make arrangements to travel with BK.
Although I'm not sure he can take his "L Plates", it will take way too long to get there.

Racing was good on the weekend, the new Scoring system is ridiculously easy to use.

Obviously with the weather being nice and rainy at the moment we had a few members watching V8's at home on the warm couch and some keen to go have a look at the new SORMCC track at Whalan, so numbers were down a bit. But good fun and racing always is had at SMA.

Regards,

Thank you.

Matt,

For the ACT Challenge Cup are you going to be able to fit some of our gear in the trailer?

If you can I can take the GTO for a run , otherwise its the Subaru...

Just wanted to put out the challenge to SMA nitro drivers to represent your club at the first round of the Nitro Interclub Series.

The PDNR Challenge on August 5/6 will be the start of the Nitro Interclub Series so get a group together and come and represent your club.

View the preliminary entrants list at: http://www.pdnracing.org.au/htm/even...ge_summary.htm

The format is planned for qualifying (4 rounds) Saturday, Qualifying (2 rounds) & Finals on Sunday (Bump up A B C), so if you can only make Sunday you still have a chance to win!.

More info from www.pdnracing.org.au !

Hope some of you can make it!

Hey guys, due to limited space on the SMA Team Bus to the ACT, we ask that you bring just what you need. For example, we dont need 12 comm lathes for 12 people. We need all the space we can get on the return trip home for all the trophies . Tyre truers have been accounted for, 2 or 3 lathes will do it, etc. I have also been informed that tables will NOT BE REQUIRED, although you must bring your own chairs. If anything changes, i'll let you all know well before.

Default SMA-List

As Rody mention, keeping equipment to a minimum will ensure there is enough room for all the drivers on the Team SMA bus.

Remember, we are only staying over night, so please leave your Teddy Bears and World Traveller Suit cases at home.

We should only need 2-3 soldering irons, two chargers maximum per driver, please only bring spare parts for the car(s) your running that weekend, leave the lead weight power transformers behind and maybe power up with another Racer.

Please send me a PM if you have any ideas to help the Team pack efficiently so we don't have to leave vital gear in Sydney.

The Drivers listed will supply the following:

IDM- Tyre Truer/ Comm Lath
Rody- Tyre Truer (back up)
HI ?
NickM ?
TomB- Team Phycologist
pyrosian ?
Old Nitro (Team Bus Driver)
A Barr ?
Utedaz ?
ajac ?
Johnny Elf ?
Ray Wood ?

Will up date this list as PM's come through . . .

Cheers,

IDM
