Look at the efforts the SA Club is doing for their state titles. Place looks fantastic. This was done by a small group of guys during the weekdays/nights and the track is still available come weekends. (Still being worked on)

I thought the states was about showcasing the SMA Club and its fantastic track?

True, my initial response may have been a little hasty but I was commenting from a third party view and never suggested that I/we were twisting peoples arms to race there.

Just as others have commented to me about the track I am a member of that they don't like the low grip, track & corner markers and anything else then they are entitled to that, we work with what we have and try our best to improve it. If they chose not to race at our track then there's little we can do except try to find further ways to improve it to hopefully change their minds.

I am sure those that be at SMA are trying to the best of their ability to improve on what they have to keep and attract racers from near and afar.

And I agree that we are spoilt for choice along with that both the efforts of the hobbyist & racer at any club is an integral part of any track and club.

Also I apologise if I have offended any member of the SMA club as I believe that they too have the best interests of their track and club in mind when voicing their opinions and concerns. My comment was a reply to what I perceived as a external and unjust criticism of the SMA club and it's members.

To All SMA Members,

As you are all aware, we have had over the last few days’ questions about the surface at SMA.

So tonight I will put it to the Members to vote on weather or not we should repaint the track.
