Had a great time today
Thanks to Matt for organising and running the racing today, enjoyed driving on the track and I like the layout.
Also thanks to Greg C for the loan of a pinion gear, and not wanting it back before the last final.
Looking forward to the next round of the CC and state titles in Oct.
Cheers
Rob.

Thanks to everyone that turned up to race today, fantastic weather (no wet stuff for a change) was excellent.
2 qualifying and 3 finals was great fun.
AND . . . we discovered Kebab can use a computer!
Thanks to Greg B and Christian for their help cleaning up and in race control.
Cheers

Ditto Rob's comments.
Jeff & I really enjoyed the day and improved as the day progressed. Enjoyed the 2 heat qualifying and 3 finals format due to there only being 5 heats. Day was run well too.

Hey guys ive got an F104 and was hoping someone can help me out with the gearing at SMA as im not sure what to run with the 21.5
cheers Matt
cheers Matt

Conservatively, start with a ratio of around 3:1. That it is, divide the number of teeth on the spur by 3 to get the number of teeth on the pinion. This is for "blinky" 21.5. If the car is manageable, then start to increase the number of teeth on the pinion.

Beth, your F1 is very well balanced and you handle it well - I wouldn't recommend that as a starting point for a newbie, but I'm just conservative

Yep i forgot the f104 were bigger thats why i calculated the rollout.
