eeewwww look at that messy thing.............

Well it was my first time at SMA, and i had a fun day, the final was .... errr interesting but its all good.

Thanks to all that helped out this electric mong with the noisy thing mounted in my car.

I was pretty happy with the handling of the new car, and was very impressed with the corner speed the Associated NTC3 is capable of.

Fast TT01 - give Kellets a call, i believe the NTC3 is very reasonably priced, and they have quite well equipped rtr kits if that is what you are after. And with Ace hobbies taking over the AE rights, parts will be easy to get.

Default SMA Results

Attention All Drivers.

The results from today’s club meeting are now posted.

Go to www.smaracing.org and click on the link to meeting results.

This was our second race meet using the AMBrc Transponders, and I'm sure everybody would agree this was money well spent.

Thanks to David Willard for installing the new loop, ("big bubbles, no troubles") this man is the power house of SMA.

It was great to see the novice drivers out in force and hope to see you at the SMA track very soon.

Speaking of Novice, it was great to see some new guys trying their hand at blasting around the track with a Nitro Tourer.

One Driver in particular, a previous TCS World Champ dominated the Road Rail track all day, well done and Good Luck at the Syd GP next week.

We also had a welcome return of one of our founding members, BK, running in Modified today.

With some stiff competition from both Troy and Nick, the boys were all class with some great clean racing.

I hope everybody had fun today, and thank you to all the Drivers that helped out on the day.

See you on the 19th of Feb . . .

Regards,

IDM

Missed the 3rd qual, you would think an electric racer would think to charge up the receiver battery

its not a great car,but there are a lot of buckets of sht out there for yhat price.change the gearing for racing and it will be sweet as.the ct4s is rtr capable of 100kph+out of the box.... the ct4-r is a pro version geared for racing not top speed
i bashed 3 of em around for a year and they wre fine.
they also take a .21 engine,so its built to handle extra power

change the pulleys for the sma track(think great vigour 13 tooth pulleys fit) and a belt tensioner for side belt, youll have to make the rear one though,ct4-s comes with a front belt tensioner standard
theres a new model out ct5-s rtr check it out first

If your serious about racing, dont even consider anything other than Mugen, Kyosho, Serpent, and G4. I'd pick up a second hand MTX3 or Kyosho RRR and one of these cars will serve you a lot better than a CEN or other RTR cars. Mugens are Tough as nails, parts are very easy to get, and they are built for racing.
