Default ::UPDATE::

Hey ppl.

Ok we are going to run a Mini T class if we get the numbers.

We would prefer close to stock specs but at this stage anyone who has one can pretty much run.

We're going to run a shorter half track, so anyone with a mini T we now have a class for you.

Racing this weekend at Mitchell Park, Bradley Grove Mitchell Park from 1pm Sunday. For more info check out http://www.sdmcc.asn.au/

::Update::

The shortened track section was completed this morning, for those that know the mitchell park track, for the mini t class there is a turn about half way down the back straight just after the tree, from there you continue into the infield section.

Hoping to see a few mini t's out there tomorrow.

Hey Guys.

Just a quick reminder for those coming down to mitchell park tomorrow.

Entries from 1pm, racing from 1:30. For those who arrive early, if possible bring a broom to sweep the surface we have had a fair amount of rain of late and there is a layer of dust on top of the racing surface.

I should be there from 12pm.

Hey Guys.

Well it was a small turnout for some reason today, but we all enjoyed ourselves.

A mention must be made about the level of hacking going on but we aim to rectify this by having a novice class next meeting.

Also no reverse is to be used during racing.

The Winners were.
2wd Modified
1st Glenn Breugem
2nd John Hill
3rd Ian Smedman

2wd 540
1st Amy Brady
2nd Chris Woolard
3rd David Yudkin

It was good to see so many new faces, hopefully we get some mini t's out there next meeting.

Would have had my car built, but the missus went a bit silly on saturday night when she was out with the people from her work and ended up in hospital.. She got out of it lightly, they pumped that much saline into her that she didnt even have a hangover!

Still, made it to the meeting having not slept at all in the 24hours previous, but passed out when I got home

Good to see another couple of BK2's out there, even if they were just hacking about

Just a tip for a couple of the guys in open, get your throttle control down with a stock/slower motor before moving to open, it may look impressive to you and your mates that the car gets sideways out of corners, but its slow driving like that

A good couple of classes racing, nice to see a full field of cars on the track though

she got hammered, went to hospital, and at the end of the day, you couldn't go racing?

James mate, she owes you 1000x favours.

Only because of lack of time to get the car finished properly

I did finish it at 1PM, but still would have needed to put in the electrics in and paint the body, plus fight the need for sleep

I'm going to be heading down to MP on saturday from about 12ish to get some practice (if it isnt raining) if anyone else wants to come down too

Your footy season is over isn't it Tim? Unless your team made the finals of course
