Default West Coast Onroad WA

Welcome to the West Coast Onroad Thread.

Please post anything West Coast in this Thread.

To Start off:

West Coast On Road 1st race day of the year is this Sunday 16th January.

The committee has decided, subject to sufficient volunteers, to blow the track down prior to each race day. The club has 1 petrol blower and we have available 2x Elec Blowers at this stage. The petrol blowers are much more powerful.
We need volunteers to be at the track at 9am Sunday (cant be noisey before then). If you have a Petrol blower we can use please let me know.

Racing Sunday. Tourer Mod, Stock, VTA, 1/12, Mini, F1, Novice.
Gates Open 9am for Track Blow Down
Practice from finish of track blow down.
Nominations Close 10.30
Drivers Meeting 10.45
1st Race 11am

We are running 1 hour per round this year with all classes having 2x Qual and 3x Finals. Meeting scheduled to finish at 4pm.

Calender:

Lots of great news to announce at Sunday drivers meeting, so come on down for the 1st of 2011.

See ya all Sunday,

Ryan

ok here is some useless info for ya all.
going back to look through some lap records, Wayne Walker had it for tourer, with a 15.65 and Ric Bartolozzi in 8th scale with a 13.83 .
some targets to look at during the year ? haha

lets hope that petrol blower is a 4 stroke. anything 2 stroke and the guy complains across the road. even with 2 mowers and a whippa snippa, one car hit the track and he was on the phone. Dumb assssss

its not the straight i'd worry about, its the sweeper at the end..
one mistake on entry and you're bound to head into a fence at 100kmh :P

and your telling some one who takes an 8th scale flat out at the end of the straight at Bunno to be worried ? the sweeper is fine one at a time that is.

Hey Taff.... :P

Losi's are all gone mate... had to get something with longer arms to keep pace with all the quick boys. The JR-XS and JRXS-R are mint cars on foam, but unfortunately everyone races on rubber nowadays. So get a deal with Schumacher and am currently sorting out the Mi4CX and the Mi-1.
