Has place my order.

Decided to go the HPI Blitz ESE. The SC10 was a very close second.

Now just wait for the order to be processed and shipped.

Both trucks are good... I've had both.

SC10 is great all round, but... I hate the rear pin drive! Proline have released a 12mm hex to put on the pins but you need to also buy the proline wheels with the right offset to keep your tyres tucked under the body if you go hat way. You need to do a small mod on the rear diff. FTSC10 comes with a ball diff anyway.

Currently running a Blitz ESE with the SC10 gear diff (SC10 gear diff is the only metric part of the Associated car - they are both 52 tooth). The ball diff is fine, just slightly annoying - run it tight and let the slipper move first. Other than that, everything is good.

The FT feels lighter on the track whereas the Blitz feels heavier - even though there's almost nothing between them in weight.

Blitz ESE you can swap front and rear tyres over (that's a good thing if you're on a budget!), FTSC10 has specific rear and specific front wheels.

Personal preference really... what sounds better?

Thanks Shev.

Yeah the Blitz ESE was in stock it was the wheel/tyre package that I am waiting on. Looking at alternatives to see if I can get it before Xmas.

Be up your way(Harvey Bay) Xmas so hoping you guys are going to run something while I am up there.

Fingers crossed it comes in time.

I do like that the front and back hex's are the same to change around the tyres.

Cheers mate, make sure you give us a ring or send us a message for when you're coming up. We race/have fun every Wednesday night. Your choice of RC18r, drifting, offroad (shortcourse, 4x4) and crawling/scalers are available. If you're not up on a wednesday, it's no problem, we're always keen to have a hit and we'll be able to organise something really quick. Bring your transponder!

I'll send you a pm now with my details.
