TITC 2011

I kmow it is still a long way off but some brief information has been given to me about TITC 2011

Dates: 25-27 Feb 2011

Classes: Mod
Brushless
Mini 2WD
F1

So basically at this stage the classes are the same but I have been told there will be some changes to the class rules (most likely Mini and F1)

As more information comes to hand I will put it here.

So start getting your holidays locked in :D:D:D

Do we know if this will be at RCS or RC addict last last year? I've already got the week booked away from work.

Thanks

No confirmation at this stage but it was always said that it would return to the new RCS track. It was at RC Addict because of the closure of the old RCS track.

Rumours say that the new RCS track will have a roof over it with no walls. We shall have to wait and see.

Some more updates.

At this stage they are looking at running the event at the new R/C City track.

Not sure if this is completed yet but it promises to be bigger than RC Addict (last years venue)

Given I'm based in China until May, deffiantly want to go do this event... even better is that that weekend is my birthday too! :D

Modified for me as well... best get looking into flights etc :D Which on that point, which is the best airport to fly into? BKK or DNK?

Most will fly into BKK.

The track is near the old Don Muang airport

DNK airpoprt ... I was under the impression that this is the code for the airport in Ukraine ... certainly not Thailand :D

DMK is Don Muang. If you intend to stay close to the track then DMK is the best to fly into. However the event hotel is further away so maybe closer to BKK

FYI .. after long negotiations with the organisers an additional class has been added to the event.

It will be a FF FWD class. (Tamiya FF03, TOP Sabre, 3Racing Sakura FF) The class will be sponsored by Hobbywing and at this stage the entry fee for the class will include a HW Justock ESC with the new HW Xerun 13.5 motor .

I would like to thank Hobbywing amd Angelo for their support for this class.

Also thanks to Itaru for including the class

More details to come as soon as I have sorted them out with the organisers

Cheers Canon, and yes I did mean DMK..

Looks like I'll fly into DMK, as the investigations I've done so far, it's a lot cheaper than to BKK! Will have a chat with one of the girls in the HR office, and see what she can arrange :)

Cheers
Ed
