Default TC3 vs Barracuda r2 vs yokomo sd ssg or XXXs

Hi I'm reaasonably new to the hobby and am looking at purchaing a second car for my brother to drive. I currently drive a pro4 and want to get experience on a different car

If anyone can offer their opinions on pros and cons on the above cars.

I'm also interested to hear what most people at c'hill drive cos it always helps for setup tips

Cheers!

I did but the 2nd hand ones being sold seem to be a bit more expensive and out of my price range.

All the cars you mentioned are good and winners in the right hands. May I suggest that you look at which one has the best back up with replacement parts and the costs of replacement parts. We run 4 Yokomo's and have never missed a race meeting because of a broken part. I also suggest that what ever you buy it maybe an advantage to run 2 cars the same as you can than keep a basic stock of the common braking parts and be able to service both cars if you break something at a race meeting. The other advantage in having 2 cars the same is the ease of setup and you can use both cars to try different things at a race meeting. Basically all cars setup the same its only the fine tuning that varies and different driving styles require different fine tuning

I reckon the barracuda is a good choice if your starting off in racing its built like a tank. Only downfall is acquiring parts locally, other than that there very quick and friendly to drive.

I ended up purchasing a TC3 cos it was at the right price. I couldnt afford another Pro4 so i had to diversify my car portfolio. Does anyone run a TC3 at the hill?

havent been to the hill with my tc3 for a while but when i was the stock setup worked ok, just change your front shock oil to about 60weight. then it is just tires.

If you drive a pro4 then why bother looking elsewhere. It's quickly becoming one of the most popular cars out there for good reason. It's quick...
