Fuel

I'm going to get into Nitro Rc and I want to know how much a quart of fuel csots in Australia.

I'm just trying ot get a rough estimate.

Ybakoff 04-15-2004 02:27 AM

It's about $50aus for 5 Litres.

You will have to convert to a Quart

finny 04-15-2004 03:03 AM

So it should be about $10 for a quart.

Thanks :)

a quart is about 3.8 ltr so your looking at about $38 dollars for a quart prices depend also on what oil you want and how much nitro

Chippy, you've mixed up a quart and a gallon. 1 U.S. Gal = 3.785412 L ( 1 U.K. Gal. = 4.546092 L )

it's up to $15 for 1 litre in the few hobby shops I've checked out in Sydney. ie: $57 for 1 US Gallon but it would be a touch cheaper with the 'bulk' purchase. From memory I paid $25 for 2L

Cheers! Oggy

I buy mine from a guy who hand mixes it, There is a few guys at the track that sell it.

The shops around here sell crappy fuel.

finny 04-16-2004 02:08 AM

What track is this at?

Ybakoff 04-16-2004 03:09 AM

Jason from online hobbies takes fuel to the track if you pre-order it.

Have a look at his site.
He goes to Moorebank and Eastern Creek on road.

What will you be racing and where abouts.

Here's a link.
