Conversion Kit for XX4

There is a new conversion kit becoming available in late June to convert XX4 into a single belt drive system the same as the xxx4.

The conversion kit consists of a new graphite chassis and new drivetrain.

Im still waiting for prices to be confirmed with the manufacturer.

This should make things a lot more interesting in 4wd as people who cant afford a new xxx4 but still have the old xx4 will soon be able to keep up with the newer cars.

Cheers

I think you've been lied to.

There are to many parts ,I e-mailed Losi about a BK to BK2 conversion kit and they said it was to many parts as well to warrant the kits, as it would be nearly as costly as the full kit.

If you really want a XXX4 ,get one S/H off E-Bay.

xx4 conversion kits

ive seen the pre production cars on a site that is linked from rctech.

the link is http://www.4wdrc.com/.

Go there and have a look for yourself.

if I still had my XX4WE i would be getting a kit when they become available but i dont cause it was stolen.

that single belt conversion looks so poor, and is deff not a losi invention,, check the cell arangment haha.

but if you love your xx4.. it might be ok

i bet you could get a second hand xxx4 for the price they will ask.

painy's right, being that its not a losi kit, that could cause problems, also, the xx-4 has been discontinued for a while now, you'd have to worry about the parts supply i suppose, and how quickly could u get parts for the conversion kit if u break something, it'd be different, and sometimes thats not a bad thing either, but i guess it mainly depends on the cost of the kit

Yeah, $169US for the upgrade kit. About 1/2 the price of a brand new XXX4 G+. Definitely not worth it...
