hello everyone

I just bought a Yokomo Drift Car and CGM last week and was thrilled with them! Paid only $299 (Drift) and $429 (CGM) from MRCW's store! Probably the cheapest on the market at the moment?

Anyway, does anyone know when the RX7 Drift Car will be releasing?

Cheerios!

The last time I contacted them, they said that their web site will be finished by the end of June. But you can contact them directly at [email protected] and ask for a list as that was what I did.

It's official the quickest SD in EC now belongs to Asimo. Congrats, you can only go quicker bro. Next stop will be in the 20's

LOL!

I'm getting there but I still think you and Noi are faster and more consistant!

Was my first A Final so I was a little nervous in the first round! Tim was my witness!

Default SD problems??????

got a question for yokomo drivers (particularly SD drivers).

Does the SD have any issues that are a common problem? For example does the SD strip its one-way gears like the evo3 and other shaft drives Is it worth stocking up on a few spare gears? Any other issues that would be of some concern

It only strips if you play around with the shims. I've stripped 3 sets of gears already. Will try the new graphite gears they have for the SD. So it's worth stocking up on spares!

Also stock the A arms. They tend to break easy. Brokomo! lol But there is a new arm design which seperates the front from back. Old ones could be used at the front or rear.

For you drift freaks!

A friend in Japan was at the Yokomo Cup last weekend. They had a dedicated drift Class race.

Here is a small video of the class.

Wait and I'll see if I can find a better video.

Difference between the 2 springs are different spring rates. The Rayspeed has a stiffer spring rate but the springs are longer in length. I find that running the rayspeeds, the car tends to roll a little more than the yokomo springs, even though it's suppose to be stiffer than the Yokomo. Probably due to it's length.

I hate turbo!!! N/A all the way! How much power is that baby pumping?
