Servos
Ok, this is probably a newbie question.....
I run a JR radio/reciever combo, but I want to try using a different companies servo with them. I have to re-wire the plugs, but I was just curious about whether servos take a standard voltage, or do they differ from brand to brand? If the voltages do differ, where can I find that sort of info to compare them?? |
what kind of servo do you plan on using with you're JR receiver. I might have some info as to which wires go where in the shed I could dig up for you if it helps.
I think the voltage is standard, though running a fet wire from the speedy may make a mild difference on some servos. Tim |
Hey Tim,
Thanks for the offer, but I'm ok on the wiring harness. Just curious about the voltages involved, not FET servos, just standard. I actually don't know what brand they are, as I found them in a box of miscellaneous bits and pieces, and of course, they haven't got the manufacturers label on them anymore... |
If its not a 7.2v fet servo, then it should be 6.0v (you can get fet servos in a 6.0v version that dosen't require a extra wire)
