Nooooooo.!!!!! That's F*#%ing unbelievable...
Actually its not, there are a lot of F#@*wits around these days. We had one of those "Facebook parties" up the road from us and most of the front yards in our street looked like that....
Now what am I going to do with the kids for the rest of the school holidays.!!

Joe you've been saying you'll come and race ever since I started racing at Castlehill (that was about a year ago). Maybe we've found our culprit - Joe is manufacturing more excuses

Went to the track to check damage - looks like some tools used an ATV quad bike to dig up the straight and oither areas.

Not as bad as I expected to see, but still going to be needing work to repair damage.
The bastards!!

Cheers

I can certainly come either/both days this weekend, I have no tools to bring though. It would be good if we can roughly plan out what the tasks that need doing and what can be done in parallel. Last time we had periods where the workers sat round and watched other people drive heavy machinery. That should be less of an issue now the track is more established. E.g. we can have people modifying the tabletop while the rotary hoe and roller go around the track.

+1 Indian reporting for duty. Will bring a barrow plus various digging implements.
Hope someone is good at giving directions. I'm good at following directions.

You want me to bring some roof sheets as well baggz or do that another weekend ?,
I agree with donavan and yourself , I've seen too many work bees at our on road track where I would be working my butt off while others thought it was a mothers meeting, very annoying .

Can we rotary hoe the table top to loosen it up a little?

So what is the plan exactly ?, convert the table top to triples , use that dirt to build a set of doubles , whoops somewhere, hoe , rake flat and roll, fix drivers stand plus new roof sheets on part, and a general tidy up?
Also the area that I mentioned last time top end of the track where the marshals stand is very uneven , I can see a compo claim if someone twists an ankle .it needs to be smoothened out so there's no trip hazard.

And when we get closer to the big event is mikey able to get old dark coloured carpet for in front of the timing shed and a path leading up to the stand , just to keep the mud and dust down in that area .
