I would say no1 wayne walker for his aussie titles in 2 different classes of racing. Im not sure if anyone has done that before.
Also if he keeps improving his offroad ,i would have to say steven jovanovic,as he got on the podium at a world title event, which is a huge achievment.

Peter Jovanovic would definetly be in my top 10 considering he has won 3 national championships, and finished 3rd at the Worlds.
Most smoothest driver I ever saw was Simon Camilleri, and would also easily be in my Top 10.
Australia's best chance of a World Champ would be Wayne Walker!!!
Best overall driver at the moment would be Ryan Maker, pretty much almost topped nitro and electric nationals this year, not many others in the list have dominated different formats (on/offroad, electric/nitro)

You have a very limited time span in that list and a lot are Maitland guys You have a few normal racers in that list.
You haven't raced long enough to know about:
Stu Grant maybe
Reece Birtles
David Crowe possible
The Bartman
The trouble with making a list is that you can only really accept a list from people who have raced all the contenders and that covers a span of over 20 years

Simon Nicholson might rate a mention also

i'm going off mainly what i saw at the worlds in 2006 for tourer, so this is a tourer nitro list mainly.
in no particular order
-Wayne Walker (most naturally gifted...dude rocks up, no prep nothing, and slams it)
-Chris Reade (professionalism personified)
-Simon Nicholson (aggressive on the track, and quick)
-Ryan Maker (smoothest aussie nitro driver i've seen)
-Peter Jov (excellent support, mad skills)
-Jessie Davis (same as Pete)
-Tim Liu (oldschool driver, but back in the day, he had mad setup skills, the best i've ever seen infact, and very good driver, who understood the relationship between setup, car, and track like not many other people can)
i was thinking of adding Ari, but to be honest, i haven't seen him slam it in nitro tourer yet, buggy nitro yes, electric, definately, not nitro T though.
there are other good (very good) drivers, but these are the ones who i recon can bring the A game most of the time in tourer nitro, i'm sure i've missed some though.

that's who i was trying to remember and couldn't get the name out, Simon Camilleri is another i'd add to my list.
now that i think of it, Ric brought his A game also, i've only ever seen stewie at Mbank, so that's why i didn't include him in my list, but i'm sure he should be included also.
