Default Ryde Off Road News Forum

This forum will be for any official announcements and special events held by the Sydney Radio Control Car Club.

We will be posting rules, entry forms, and information regarding all Ryde off road RC events at Blenheim Park, North Ryde.


Information will also be posted on the official club website.

Brought to you by Northern beaches Hobby Centre and The Rc Pit.

When? Sunday 31st of january. Drivers brief at 8:30, racing to start at 9AM
Where? Blenheim Park, North Ryde.
Cost? $20 first class, $10 for each other class.
As this is a one day event, there will be 3 qualifiers for all, 3 finals for the A finals will be run, one final for B,C final etc

short course(SC) classes will be...
*Box Stock, only radio, battery/motor conectors and shock oil can be altered. Kit tires, motor and shock springs must be retained. this will be checked. also no mixing the kit tires from another truck.
*13.5 class, any 2wd SC chassis, any SC tires, any 13.5 or the hobbywing 13T 380 motor or kit motor may be used.
*SC open, this is for those who want to go fast with either a 2wd or 4wd SC, B44 converted, 4wd slash, 4wd ofna SC are allowed, SC wheels/tires still must be used.

*Open classes will be 2wd, 4wd and stadium trucks, as well as the SC open.

*Open rules are for any 1/10th chassis as per the normal rules.

*you may use any 540 brushed/brushless motor (550 brushed motor from traxxas kits are allowed.

*up to 8.4 nihm/cd or 11.1 Lipo/fe may be used.

*Trophies will be for the top 3 in each class, TQ and top junior.
