RockCrawling in Cairns.
I reckon it's about time to get a rock crawling thread on here.
This is nothing formal yet but just a general chance to get together and go rock crawling. The venu at this stage is The Barron Gorge right at the end near the power station. It's a awsome spot for rock crawling with difficulty ranging from easy to challenging. Anyway, we'll hold the meet on on Sunday the 29/11/09, at about 10:00am. If you don't know where it is PM me. Let me know if any of ya are interested. :D Rock on :tire::tire: |
my elbows and knees are gonna be bloody sore come monday:lol::lol:

I'm considering a crawler :sneaky:, so will keep my eye's on this thread

Time and Date
Ok guys. Due to other commitments it looks like we'll hold a social crawl on Sunday the 29/11/09 at about 10:00am.
The venu is The Barron Gorge near the power station. Just follow the road into Lake Placid, up the hill and you'er there. I look forward to seeing ya there. :D Rock on :tire::tire: |

Maybe if we can get the ball rolling we may look at organising a crawl up at Port.:batman: Bring what ya got mate, theres no restrictions what we run yet. It's only a social crawl. Later we'll hold comps. As for your radio frequency, ( 36 meg ) It not a problem, bring what you got. |
Well the crawlers once again invaded the gorge special forces style and ran amok today. :sneaky:
Thanks to everyone who turned up, especialy if you made a mammoth trip for the occasion. I gotta say those scalers are really sweet. I for one can't wait till the next outing, I'll keep you'all posted for a date. Hopefully i'll have some photos up soon. Till next time, rock on :tire::tire: |

Allrighty then...hi good to see you guys start a crawler thread.
Unfortunatly i won't be able to crawl with you's as i'm from Briz, but we can talk & gabba on this thread. I have a Losi Comp crawler & a Crawler king presently, and got out of nitro's some months ago to start doing some crawling......it's great. Heres some pics of my gear. Cheers Scott |

Just a gidday from a fellow crawler..
I also am too far away to join you boys, but yeah. My mate and i both bought AX10's only 2 weeks ago so still learning. Great fun, i have to admit, especially concidering i thought it would be boring. But with a group of mates, a few stubbies, and no "blink and you miss the corner" attitude it is really a good laugh I found you only need a few tennis balls cut in half and with only one crawler, everyone can still have a go. |
