LOL an xray vs a top... I can see red bits flying everywhere! But a top usually loses out in a collision against anything even a light hit breaks that thing as I discovered on the weekend. Anyway he needs to find some serious improvements in what I drove on the weekend if he even wants a chance of running against you mounty.

So, With companies like xray bringing out a chassis that is designed for lipos now, surely others will follow suit. though i haven't had an issue with lipos on my '08 and '09s.
i guess the real question is will AARCMC look at the regs and finally take the same stand as ROAR?
Been to a fair few meetings and it seems that there are a minimal amount of people using Nimh so the transition period i would say is over.
bring on 1450 i say.

WERC has submitted a rule change to be discussed at the AGM lowering weight to same as ROAR of 1425g, with the elimination of Nimh.

If i remember reading correctly on the ETS thread, they had a minimun weight limit of 1350g Probably why almost all of the cars had traction rolling issues. 150 grams is quite a lot of differance, in comparence to us. I would love to see the weight limit dropped to at least 1425
Back to topic, the T3 looks sweet

I was thinking of picking up a second hand 008 or 009 now that this car has come out. Seeing the spy shots was making me think maybe but looking over the xray site now they have the Optimized blurb it has made me think F*#@ that. This looks a beast. I want one. Can't wait to see one in the flesh

Hi guys has there been any movement on the shpment on the cars.
Also something to bare in mind is the actual cost of bringing in something from o/s.
I worked out that say from nexus racing they are selling the cars for 499us$ its 45us$ for shipping and i know for a fact that my bank charge me 32$au for international transactions.
so all up the car comes in for $630au.
Though i did work out that if i buy a bunch of other things (12 items) which add up to $850us$ the cost of the car is $580 once you divvey up the cost of shipping.
You have to be carefull though because customs ping you and if you do its gst at 17%.
So you end up with around 1200$au. so When the gov charges hit you the car turns out to be $50 more expencive than you can get it locally. The US$ to AU$ for all due purposes in what I described above works out to be the Us price times about 1.4 to get the AU$ price, thats shipped landed gov charges etc etc.
So your 500$ kit turns into $700 believe it or not.
Also anyone else noticed that the T3 price on RCmarket isn't $468 anymore its now $529 lol
