Maybe making Tuesday night a race night as well, so it makes it consecutive nights with Wednesday. Or Thursday night.

I think having a raceday\night during a working Weekday does take it's toll. There are many drivers out there that just dont turn up because they are tired from working all day and dont want to drive through peak hour traffic a second time after work. But i guess this track will only fit in with local racers and young kids.

Saturday option is perfect, if you cant make it to a Sunday race at other clubs. You can organise your day well. A early afternoon start would be perfect.

The real negative thing about hosting a night race is the 10:30 curfu that Boronia has. So the amount of races you are able to run is small compared a full race day\night.

Cheers

Plus having the wood edges means one slip up and hitting the wood might blast one of those mod cars into two million bits.
I would have to disagree, I have been to a couple of the practice Fridays out there and I enjoyed running mod there immensely.

It just makes you drive better and set the car up better.

You are worried about racing 2 nights a week!. Years ago when the remote control hobby was very popular and every man and his dog had a car we used to race 4 nights a week and Sundays as well. Monday night it was Broadmeadows, Tuesday was Geelong, Wednesday Keilor, Friday was either Melton,Ballarat or Glenroy, Sunday Keilor off-road. And all these meetings with the same batteries used everyday. I think we raced Thursdays for a few months as well. Ah the good old days!!!! bring them back.

Times have changed.

It would be adventageos to run on a Saturday heading up to the Vics as it would give drivers more track time during racing conditions.

Since Boronia race during evenings then why not hold the Vics over 3 evenings.

Cheers

I think if Boronia ran 2 Saturdays a month or even 1 Saturday a month then it would be an awesome place to race mod.

Much more organising of course but I think another great venue and I would think more people would turn up that dont ordinarily.

I agree, I might even be able to make it there early so I can get some room to pit. I will get to drive me new cars yet!!

Default meet.

I think that a warm up type meeting should be run on a Saturday leading up to the State Titles.

That way maybe the pits won't be so packed, races can get back to 5 minutes and people who come from the other side of the city have a bit of a chance of getting somewhere to pit. I think the club should be thinking of changing their day of racing to maybe Saturday night (twilight like the summer series).
Dude get a life, saturday night racing, man how many other clubs offer mid week racing, know one can be sure of how many people will turn up on the night, I think that if a club like BRCCC can get anywhere from 60 to 87 entries per wedensday night the club must be doing something right (may be you should learn to drive your car better so you dont need so much pit space to fix it)

Default Time?

S B, it only takes me few minutes in excel to readjust the correct result. I dropped from 4th to 5th, since there was no 34 laps fantasic in this world. when others are doing 17...

maybe i paint my car very dark, so nobody can see it. i can go some shortcuts. may be acheivable...
