LRP speed controller repairs in OZ ?

hi,

just wondering if anyone knows who/where I can get a TC Spec looked at. Purchased it second hand off this forum, finally wired it up, but its not working.

basically it acts like the sensor wire isn't connected. All the lights show up as they should at full throttle and brake etc.. and the fan spins, but the motor doesn't budge (yes its wired correctly)

tried a couple of different brushless motors to confirm it was the speedy.. they all don't work. also tried another known-to-work sensor wire and the same thing.. dead.

any ideas on what could be the issue or details on who does repairs ?? i've pm'ed the seller to see if it was working/tested.

cheers

Frontline Hoobies in Newcastle are the LRP agents in OZ. They will only do warranty work if you can provr you bought it from an Australian shop.

Cam,

Is it on a brushed profile or not calibrated to your radio.

Got the same thing with mine, happened from the sensor wire shorting across one of the power wires on the motor when the timing got spun around, hitting the track!
So it won’t run a bl motor it will work with a brushed
If it can be repaired I would like to no two

give the guys at frontline/hobbies australia a call. Jarred can help you out with it. There will be some sort of fee so its worth investigating to see if its cheaper to get it repaired or just buy a new esc and chase the bloke who sold it to you.
