Actually on this topic, it seems there are some very notable teams not present, and only 86 or so competitors, so i think starting a 'brand' war based on these results is not realy fair, no matter which brand wins.

Pick the Mugen Driver

BTW No Aussies, whats up with that.

Default Illegal Refuelling hole?

Is IFMAR different? Cant find the rules anywhere.

Just curious

Hmmm . . . Maybe they call that the re-fuel hole. I guess there's nothing to say you "must" have a cooling hole.

Possibly, it doesnt say where the refuelling hole should be.

He started it!

But, yeah, no Aussies.
Even though there's only 86 drivers it would have made a good warm-up event for the DUDY Cup.

There might be an angle here. Don't know if the rules have been updated recently.

AARCMCC IC Rules V1.1 (Aug. 03)

1.15 Only the following AIR HOLES and sizes are permitted in the body shells:
One (1) hole, for cooling may be cut in the front windscreen,
(not intruding on either the roof or bonnet), with a maximum
opening of 50% of the total windscreen area.
15.00mm (maximum diameter) hole in the roof for glow plug access.
Both front side windows and the rear window can be removed for ventilation,
except for the side rear windows, which must remain intact.
Re-fuelling hole, maximum 50.00mm diameter. Small holes can be made for the
exhaust pipe,

Transponder and radio antenna. No other holes are permitted.

Whats worse... place your refuling hole where it is needed for a fuel gun or 50% of your window like our stupid rules?

There is nothing in the rules that say the refuelling hole and the cooling hole can't overlap.
