Check out the first stages of a new indoor track in port melbourne (25 Salmon St)

Just 8 mins from the city.

I popped in today and chatted to Glen who runs the facility which also has paintball on site.

2 tracks are being built. 1 for racing and the other for kids events/corp days.

The dirt looks sensational and they have lighting and a big enough area for indoor pits.

Certainly has the potential to be the best facility in AUS.

2 weeks and the tracks will be open, jumps are being built and the track has to be rolled.

Obviously there is still much to be done but thanks for posting the images up. Glenn is flat out trying to have this ready by Thursday week (tentative deadline) so there will hopefully be something ready by then for those that can't wait. Hopefully a slash bash of some type on Saturday or Sunday week.

Just a tip - keep an eye on the Sideways website or here (or call) BEFORE coming down.

I really wish that Sydney could have an indoor offroad venue!!!

Hmmm, do we know anyone that has plans for one, if there was I would help out some how...:nod:
