Ok guys after last nights committee meeting we have decided to have 3 race meets to let you do some testing to find out yourselves what works best in motor limit. Just to let you know that if we have a state titles later this year the rules will be what David has posted and a 21.5 limit, keep that in mind when you come to your collective decision. As David has said at the moment bring what you have and just race.

Hello all, I will no longer be contactable on here anymore. Anything that has to do with racing can be asked on race days.
Thanks,
Vince.

Cool!!
Well i just ordered my self a new esc and motor for the F1 after hearing that.
Maybe we should keep our F1 racing regs the same as what Dave posted. Atleast that way if local racers want to run states with F1 they wont need to buy a new motor as they would be already running within the regs.

here are some guidelines for f1.
any RWD f1 chassis allowed
rubber tires to be used only (no warmers or traction additives allowed)
any 21.5 motor set on 0 timing
limit to 6000mah batteries
open gear ratio
below are a couple of rules that will be put up for discussion
esc's (do we limit the class to either the hobbywing or yeah racing 35amp sensorless esc's or go for open sensored/sensorless systems???
(esc must be set to run 0 timing)
and finally weight limit...i have read that the weight should be a minimum 1000 grams including transponder....
thanks....

in regards to the f1 class, i shall be attending along with snoopy with our f104w and fgx, and for us it shall be testing for setups and not really racing as such as we are feeling like the hrt with no running before the 'big day' as such i will be trialling different motor combos, both sensorless YR 9t and 13t, and also tyre options. ive had a very quick run on rubbers (on the street) and would like to try out foams too. i think it would be good to get a definite set of specs cos both snoopy and i have bought 13t motors based on the chatting on here and now from the looks of it 21.5 are now going to be the go. i would like to offer this opinion however, and suggest another option would be 17.5, which is the 'stock' touring car motor. im not envisaging poaching touring car ppl, but i think it would be a possibility to recycle 'old' gear from touring car ppl that have 'graduated' from stock classes to the modified ones...perhaps. while i acknowledge that 21.5 will be around j540 specs, which would enable out fo the box running, i think it would be a strange person that runs a brushed motor in this day and age when a YR one can be had for <$50! so many things to ponder...

I'm fitting my f1 car with mabuchi + LRP QC3, so we can see if silver can is even an option.
