Hey Zack,

All good, I got Mike's details from the clubs website.

I phoned Mike who advised that Dave Simms is the technical person to approach for electric queries at this years on road states. Mike stated "Im just a nitro guy".

Matt.

I'm not running as it falls on my wedding anniversary, and it wouldn't go down well with the missus!

Thanks Matt. No worries. So call Ryper if there are any technical Qs for the State Titles...

If anyone needs tyres for practice on the Friday, Ryper has a crap-load of them in stock!

I spoke to Cheeseburger tonight and he's very keen to race 12th scale. I guess I'll run as well and Dylan needs to buy a 12th scale car to run 12th scale? I'm not sure he has one at the moment. If not, Shane you would be the sixth person (required for the class to be run) so it's up to you buddy!

Or course, Matt and I both agreed that if 12th scale runs the full track it's going to be incredibly dull if people gear their cars for 8 minutes.

however, under AARCMCC rules it should not be a problem, as the proposal which approved the use of LiPos stated the cut off device can either be built into the speedie or seperate device.

I'm not sure if AARCMCC has updated the rules, but attached is the original proposal which approved the use of LiPo's
Lipo and motor lists updated by AARCMCC

Ok, here's the solution: We cut a hole in the pipe here (where the old track went)

Then the straight will be 40m instead of 65m and the lap times will still be above 15secs. Solved!
