There will be a race meet on the 10th of December, at this stage not sure if there will be another after that.
The committee will have to make a decision.
The summer series will probably start sometime in late January, again it will a committee decision as to the exact date.
Edit:
Please vote for this weekend's race day preference here.

After much discussion racing will go ahead this coming Sunday the 26th.
Enter here please. http://www.alycat.com/oed
Apologies to those that cannot attend.
For those that enjoy a Saturday race meet I will be looking at running on Saturday the 16th of December as the last race meet of the year.
Edit: Castle Hill are running their end of the year event on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of December.
An Xray race event, so I hope Ryde members will support that.
We will most likely not have a race day on that weekend.
Sunday the 10th of December will be the last round of the Ryde Spring Series, round 8.
This will most likely be the last race meet for the year.

For any of you die hard Short Course Truck maniac's that would like to try something different. SMA will be running them tomorrow night (as a trial and without jumps this week) for an event to be held on the 20th Jan 2018. We currently have 5 ready to run and would like to cap it at 10 for this trial.
If your interested, please let me know.
Regards Tony.

For those interested there is a great article in "The Weekly Times" Ryde local newspaper on page 21.
This shows the support we are getting from Ryde City Council and in particular Ryde Councillor Jordan Lane.
Hopefully we will have a nice new wheelchair friendly driver's stand in the near future.
Thanks to Ryde Club members Tom Harden, Stephen Toomer, and Chris Wilson for spearheading this new endeavour.
Councillor Jordan Lane is in the front row on Tom Harden's left.
He's holding Stephen Toomer's weapon B6 buggy ! ;-)

Just wondering what is the etiquette when practising during summer; should I water the track? It seems wasteful to me but it may also stop the dust from annoying the neighbour?
