Nice, the shield was fun this year. Love the rotating grid.

My wheeling was even more sketchy back then.

And in this flea our two bloods mingled be.
Thou know'st that this cannot be said
A sin, nor shame, nor loss of maidenhead ;
Yet this enjoys before it woo,
And pamper'd swells with one blood made of two ;
And this, alas ! is more than we would do.

O stay, three lives in one flea spare,
Where we almost, yea, more than married are.
This flea is you and I, and this
Our marriage bed, and marriage temple is.
Though parents grudge, and you, we're met,
And cloister'd in these living walls of jet.
Though use make you apt to kill me,
Let not to that self-murder added be,
And sacrilege, three sins in killing three.

Cruel and sudden, hast thou since
Purpled thy nail in blood of innocence?
Wherein could this flea guilty be,
Except in that drop which it suck'd from thee?
Yet thou triumph'st, and say'st that thou
Find'st not thyself nor me the weaker now.
'Tis true ; then learn how false fears be ;
Just so much honour, when thou yield'st to me,
Will waste, as this flea's death took life from thee.
Have you got flea's in your bed Nick,??
Is that why you can't answer,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ha ha. I have given up on Nick's interview. It's DOA.

Obviously too smarty pants to lower himself to my sloppy interview skills

But i'll say he is an excellent sport for sharing his epic flea poem. Love it.

-Advice for teenage dating whilst R/C racing
-Too many servos is never enough.

Bloody hell! You're harsh! Just because I had to help out with the kid next doors English homework last night instead of getting on here! BTW, very uncomfortable talking to a 16 year old about the lack of sex in a married relationship - which is what the poem above is about.

Ask away.

Ok pattern suggests Nick doesn't want to disclose how he is doing. I won't ask how the flea is either.

Next question. Stones or Beatles?

Oh yeah that one was great, that point where you went purple and looked like you wanted to jump the itty St Ives fence and kill me because I wanted the race to continue In retrospect that was a pretty funny situation. Especially my doomed depression over the following few days.

Man that's what I love about this game. The cars are one tenth the size. The dramas are ten times the size

It's been pretty cool how chilled it was this year.

My driving was soooo much better last year. How can it have disappeared so quickly

What do you mean "next question" I thought this was the first.

Anyway it's got to be Stones, Beatles are like Jimmy Stewart to the Stones Humphrey Bogart, they're both equally talented but one is way cooler than the other. I submit the following in evidence:

Actually looking back it at they are both a bit Mardis Gras.

Yes keep it clean mate.

Maybe it's the truck keeping me chilled. It's so relaxed and wicked racing truck mod

That durango was an animal. I grit my teeth just thinking about the way I'd abuse that little mother, and it wouldn't complain, just get the job done. Got to make sure the wheel nuts are tight every race though

Ok that's cool, yes we can continue the interview. Obviously the Beetles are a band you should like, after all, song craft is important. Did you know when the stones were recording their first single that the manager popped out from the studio for a break, bumped into John Lennon on Charring Cross road and Lennon came back to help them get the song right and boom, the rest is history.

Next question. Exactly how many servos do you have, are they any good, and do you love a good ebay deal?

Funny you should ask that, I counted them on the weekend and I'm embarassed to say there are 31, 5 of which aren't working and are being kept for spare gears. Also about 8 of them came with a box of vintage cars and gear a client of mine gave me. And yet I still had trouble finding one for Jasper's BJ4 the other day, I wanted a metal geared basic servo, finally ended up putting in a cheapy which a certain ghostly hobby store employee told me they had never had any of returned, when I was returning the first one....anyway it failed after 5 minutes, even with a servo saver, so I took it back and swapped it for a HS645MG. I like these and the Futaba 9551, both of which I have at least two each of and have never had any trouble with in 3 years of pretty heavy abuse.

Do I like a good Ebay deal? Put it this way, when I walk into our local post office he says "hi Nick I have two parcels for you today". But I don't just stick with Ebay, I'm a Platinum customer at a host of sites.
