I am running 22/81 with my 7.5 but then again I am using a tekin with hybrid mod with 50% timing advance - bloody fast and doesnt run as hot as a 17.5 with 36/81 gearing.... You will probably need to restrain yourself from going to fast on the big jump.

just a quick question fellas, which trucks are easy to get parts for.....the losi,or the associated?

im thinking about getting a truck to race mod with seeing as there is only 3 or 4 running at the moment.....may as well join in the chaos

im more partial to a associated truck.....

even if someone has a second hand one they want to get rid off.....just nothing thats about to sh1te itself..

Steve, the bk2 shaft is different , but thanks. If you're interested in the xxx4 PM me an offer. Ive got spare arms, belts and a few other things I think for it. I got it before i crossed the ditch and havent really used it. Only known fault i have with it is the rear drive shaft. Got 2 sets of rims , one new with a full set of JConcept Goosebumps brand new mounted.

Peli, the AE truck seems to be more common, if you go losi you wanna go the MF2 or the Tcr. The cr has a longer wheel base. Losi trucks are built bloody tough, i used to race a LXT back in the day and it was awesome, Ive now got a MF2 and it handles the punishment great! And if you're gonna race at St Ives, u want something strong for that mighty Triple!!

I presume you missed out the I as in "Steve I think you and I had better start racing" cause you ain't much better than me, in fact my quickest lap is 2 secs faster than yours.
but it is a bit embarrasing

Maybe we can start our own class called the
"slow middle age men who can't race for shit"class
or
"Out for a laugh, out of contention"class
better still how about
"Get your son used to the idea that Daddy is shit at somethings" class
