8.5 is f-ing fast, losi looks like a dragster with the rear tyres about twice the diameter due to the speed, don't know about geering just tried 23/78, think I'd better tighten up my slipper clutch as well, thiunk the speed would be wasted at Ryde

You have to understand that Trent is an Associated fanboy and will only run appropriate items in his B44.
Did you notice that the three ESC's he mentioned were by LRP.
I guess as far as Trent is concerned blue IS better.

what do you guys think

I would go for the LRP Sphere Competition TC spec, a lot of factory drivers overseas are running them in their 4wd's.

As for Lucas' Losi XXX4 why match a Venom ESC with a Losi motor ?
Just get the Losi combo ESC and motor, the programming card for the ESC is very easy to use. You could also assume that the Losi ESC would be optimised for the Losi motor, but i am sure some people might disagree.

Make sure you have at least 2 big holes in the wheels AND the tires to aid with the ballooning.

23/78 sounds about right. . . would love to see it.
U got any video footage ??
