Just got to say.
Tekins customer service is second to none, true they sent me the wrong motor, but everything else they've been fantastic.
I recommend them to anyone

Or should I sell it and recoup my money,
Perhaps I should put it up for auction,
Starting bid $77.
Any offers?

Ask other B44 drivers what they are using and try the B44 forums.

They all cost top dollar don't they?
To be honest I don't think you will notice the difference between either of those three, maybe the SPX Stock will have a little more aggressive profile for stock which is more your application but wether you can take advantage of that on the slippery Ryde track is another matter. The Stock speedi will probably induce more heat into the motor as well by running more timing advance.

As I've probably mentioned to you, the 44 is a shocker for heat, open up the air vents, and maybe get rid of the undertray and get the chassis protective sheet instead and cut out the chassis hole where the motor is. (or cut the motor hole out in your undertray!). I run a heatsink fan in mine and that also helps.

Still don't have enough power eh

Thanks shane

I have put holes all over the shell and cut the tray out (i also placed fly screen over all the holes looks sweet) The motor didn't get hot on the weekend at all but i cant decide on which to get a speedie with fan or with out i am chasing after a sink fan for the motor.

You know me i want try and keep it as cool as possible which will give me more power....

Default Pictures from the weekend

Hi Guys,

So I tried to post some photos I took on the weekend here but it turns out you need to "have made a certain number of posts" before you can do that.

I am obviously not on here enough.

More posts to come

Thanks
Wayne

As far as I understand Resistance = heat, there fore I'd go for the lowest resistance one. I'm biased but what about the Tekin RS pro, it's got no heatsink so I reckon that it doesn't need to dissipate that much heat due to it low IR

sorry, I've just re-read the post and you're not talking about esc temps but motor temps
How about a water cooled boat motor with a radiator as a rear wing

Go the Venom ESC, doesn't get either motor or ESC hot in my experience and it is made by the same people who make LRP and Speed Passion (Hobby Wing). It's cheap and cheerful.

My 2 cents (0.012884 USD) worth.
