I'd love to hear Kylie do Welcome to the Jungle, she did a great version of Locomotion.

It's not so much where will we put 2wd stock, but it's more a matter of where we put novice if there are only 2 entries.

2wd stock is the most logical choice as it's the least threatening to novice drivers.

Race Control are always happy to receive input or guidance in this matter. We can never seem to please everyone when these sorts of decisions need to be made.

On a different note. Roman will be essentially flying solo this Sunday as I have a family BBQ to attend. He will be ok running Race Control by himself, but if you guys would like some sort of lunch, he will need volunteers to do Canteen and BBQ duties.

Cheers

No racing for me this weekend

If anyone is after some FT T4 parts such a near new chassis, wheels and tyres with 95% tread (hole shots and goose bumps), as near new body, a J82 conversion and a few other pieces, shoot me a PM. All will be going for very good prices. I will formally put on RC Tech over the weekend.

BTW, is 10.5 with non boosted speedie allowed in SCT?? Thanks

If the 13.5 is setup right with boost it wouldn't be worth running 10.5

It really depends on what floats your boat. ;-) and what speedy you're running.

I personally think that the ESC's used for 10.5 non-timed should be from the ROAR/AARCMCC Stock Spec ESC list.

21.5 Touring Car and 2wd/4wd Stock Buggies use the list, so it seems logical that Pro2 10.5 should as well.

Some people like the feel of the 10.5 unboosted powerband.
I guess it depends on your driving style and what powerband profile you prefer.
You can always gear up a 10.5 for more oompf, just ask Peli.

As John has mentioned before, I will be running Race Control on my own tomorrow as he has family committments to attend to.
He will kindly be helping me set up in the morning but then has to go.

So, I cannot see myself running race control AND the canteen.

If no one is available to run the BBQ then we will have to get some ice cream from Mr. Whippy instead.

As it stands I will probably not run any cars tomorrow to concentrate on Race Control and marshalling rosters etc. Not feeling well at the moment either.

Unfortunately this will happen occasionally due to our 8 committee members being divided between Sunday racing and Saturday racing, also due to important family/other committments.

No worries Simon, we will see how it goes tomorrow, might not need to.

Went to your part of Australia for a wedding last week, a very relaxing and beautiful area.

How is the TRF201 ?

I thought you went to Bowral. That's in the Southern Highlands, about 75km inland from Culburra Beach.

Roman - I can help out with the canteen. Let me know what else I can do to ensure you get to race at least 1 class. if Shane can do it, you can do it too! (ie run race control & race)
But I'll only get to the track at 11am

Brenos - I've got a NIP BigShots, I can bring them if you still can't find any...
