I have not seen anything state the X12 is illegal although there were rumours to have them struck off but that was based off an incorrect assumption, if it's written somewhere official please let me know as I cant find it
Otherwise just buy a Ballistic and advance it 10 degrees and you'll be back to X12 spec

Was referring to static endbell timing not temperature...

But on temperature I have had my X12 over 80 degrees a a few times and you can definetly smell it, which means the insulation on the stator is breaking down so I would not operate there on purpose, run it around 65 now. Did hit 120 degrees C with my mamba 4600 at the enduro, not recommended either but that is one tough motor

But can you post the list that shows that the Team Orion Vortex Pro Stock 17.5
i can only find the vortex 2008 stock 17.5 which i don't think is the same.
That's what happens when you use lists of products in replace of rules, everytime a new product gets released the list becomes redunant.

Can vouch for the Mamba's...they are bloody tough

But not as tough as that LRP Eraser 13.5 i originally had.......
Steel canned brushless...it used to regularly hit 160C and still went no probs ....it put up with it for a whole yr...animal motor

Didnt get much done today afterall

Chopped the star picket off Chris

I think we should organise a Working Bee this weekend
The track isnt to bad, probably only a hr or so off work to be done, its just evrything else is trashed....

Heaps of rubbish everywhere..
Grass needs mowing and whippersnipper
Weeds/Grass need to be removed of the track surface and from the fence line
Aggpipe needs to be pulled up and relayed/fixed in sections
Dig the pit out and replace it with a big 1 from Bunnings for now
Paint over the graffiti on the drivers stand with some Mission Brown paint

Door lock on the storage room may have to be replaced,it just swung open when i put my hand on it..but i managed to get it locked today

Back triple needs a fix up
Base of the double before the tabletop needs a little work

Thats about it for track work.....but the rest NEEDS to be done soon

That way it looks killer for the Ryde Open and Venom SCT Event

Brenno,i dropped 1 tooth on the pinion,it had no torque, and felt slow...
I went back to the gearing i was running with no boost, and run it with the 55 psi and tightened the slipper a quarter turn....ANIMAL

Still lacks the torque it had down low though and feels like the boost may be coming in a little late.......

The SC is bloody fast, landing on the Pad after the table top,and ballooning the tyres on the straight...
But i think theres still more in it,more bottom end torque in there somewhere.....have u got any idea on what to do to achieve this without changing gearing?

The brakes werent strong enough, will have to turn them too %100
and turn the dragbrake off

After 8-10 mins it temped at 73C

Bloody happy
