We've all been there when we need to wrench on our cars and over looked marshalling duties or we have back to back races, then there are often races with only 6 people. So no matter what we do, there will always be a shortfall in marshals.
What people need to remember is that a successful race meet is largely dependant on volunteers.
I saw many times, guys like Chris Mann, Peter O'Heir, Roman, Peli, Gary and many more who just get out there and help make up the numbers. but it gets tiring if the same guys are volunteering over and over again
Roman And I ran Race control, setup and helped cooked the BBQ and still we managed to volunteer a few times.
It seems that it's always the same faces the step forward to lend a hand, yet you never hear squat from them, they rarely get thanks so I would imagine that every now and then they just want to rock up and race..

But like I said before, all my races were fine. I ran Truck Open, 4WD Mod and 1/8.
I have to admit, I struggled with marshalling SCT today, it could be just me but it seemed like trucks were flying everywhere.... we just couldn't keep up.
Not generally speaking. when people did marshal for the races they were supposed to it was pretty decent.

although the marshalling numbers for 4wd stock were pretty poor.

I thought the marshalling was pretty good.........
And,i think its a bonus having buggerall marshalls..means you can see the track better without a moving blindspot

And its make you concentrate, which = Less Rooftime

Although,a good marshall can save yor car....next time anyones car is on fire or letting out the magic smoke, aim it at Chris Mann,Sarge will fix it......

G'day all, normal day for me, moments of brilliance combined with plenty of stacks in between but gees the company makes the day awesome.
Such a great crew at Ryde, most pitching in and good to see plenty of people with brooms in their hands!
i didn't think the marshalling was too bad, just pull your finger out, put your car down then walk back out and marshall. Not a hard task to accomplish!
Your not that special...no really your not!
Got to say I thanks to Jimmy for the wing mounts, will get you another set, Shannon for the setup comments, Brent for a drive of his Losi and listening to him crack up on the drivers stand just like me!
Watched Chelle today some bloody good consistant driving and Roman for running the day.
I'm going back up to Townsville for a month will see you all when I get back.
Good luck at the last Club series all, go Ryde. Cheers Chris M.

Yes he is, he earns millions every year and is saving the world by racing toy cars! You just need to learn to be more accepting of his specialness.

The only one that is special is the Panda because he has the HAT and he abuses marshalls regularly
Thanks Panda for the mega shade and seeking continual emotional support that he does not abuse marshalls!!! and Peli for random driver training and general p#@s taking, pure gold.
