Thats the benefit of racing Truck...i get to watch all the best buggy race's

I think in my last final,i crashed in front of Gillott on the in field straight,he marshalled me,then i went round the sweeper, and traction rolled after the little double before the Qaud,Gillott marshalled me again...then i crashed on the end of the Qaud,Panic marshalled me....

then i did exactly the same seqeunce, with the same marshalls the next lap

The 2nd time i did it,i waited a few seconds deciding wether to tell Andrew that i was sitting upside down behind him,i was over my shite driving, and my truck

I knew right there and then that i should have been sitting down instead of driving....

First real big race...i still learnt things, like to make sure i know the rules...
Because i didnt,i cost myself a lap..Idiot brain

Still,i had a great time.....was good fun,and i was more relaxed on the stand than at CC,so that was good

LOL..
That part of the track will always be like that after a few days of sun. That's the low part so will have the highest concentration of Dustex. If we lightly water it over a period of a couple of days, it should become rock solid.

Having been to Pakistan i can certainly relate. It actually looks a lot like some of the desert in Qatar and Bahrain! Especially as you get closer to the Saudi border!

Re the State tites - i was amazed at the pace of Scott, Ari, Andrew and Mathew. Watching these guys hit the same racing line (99% of the time) within an inch and taking the quads was brilliant!

Hi Ryan

First,do you have any existing gear...2.4 radio,lipo's

We race a Pro2 class,its our most popular,and a 4wd class Pro 4

In Pro2 you will need a 13.5 motor for the rules, and any speedy, including boost speedys and SC bodys and SC tyres/wheels

The rest of the truck u can modify as you like

The best speedys around at the moment are the Mamba Max Pro,Tekin RS,Hobbywing Supercharge's and the KO speedys...

Best bang for buck would be the Mamba

Race tyres...buy some M3 Holeshots for the rear for racing,M3 Bowties would be the best practise/back up race tyre around....Plus they wear pretty well
M3 Bowties up front are a great steer tyre....

Plenty of fella's on here that will help, dont be afraid to ask anything no matter how silly you think it sounds.....

A boost speedy is a speed controller that allows you to run more timing on the motor which gives you more top end on the motor.

it works like a turbo on a real car.

Tyres you can pick up from nearly any hobby shop, check out ruben at the rc pit for tyres, rims, even a speed controller and motor setup.

if you are after a motor and speed control package then look for a 13.5 turn hobbywing, with the turbo speedy, or a castle creations 13.5 turn package from amainhobbies.com

ill be running a 12 turn or a 10 turn this weekend as i dont have a 13.5 turn. so if you have a mod motor you can still run in pro 2 but you dont get pionts for it . so its more practice then racing.

Last I heard it is the 31st Oct.

I know there was a lot of debate about it but I'm not sure what the outcome is.
