yeah peli. i decided to stop by ryde today after st ives. thought i would miss the massive pools of dirty water in the middle and on the riser (well the riser WAS a pool so i stayed clear of it)

little did i know that so much mud would enter the sc10.

lets just say i spent roughly 30 minutes stripping the electronics and then watering down the chassis at the park. and another hour cleaning the electronics at home.

Its all up and running again, bashing around out the front again.

or am i completely wrong?
The ZTW motor is not a legal motor at this point of time.

The club series are run to AARCMCC rules so the motor is not usable at the club series but I am sure it would be fine with your club events

Yes, thanks we know that, I told the guys I would post it here for people to look at to see what ROAR is doing.

As we are yet to see the actual "list" being proposed, we were discussing what is legal in the US.

After much discussion and some heated debate, the changes to the AARCMCC Stock Class in EP OFR for 2011 have been drafted.

The following points has been put forward for finalisation at the end of October, and implementation in January 2011:

Motor 17.5 Brushless / 24 deg brushed (no change here).
Control ESC A list of approved ESCs will be compiled from current and past models. These will be zero timing, non turbo ESCs.
hey Nick, i totally stand corrected, im sorry to have scared anyone, this is different to my understanding of what the original proposal was to be which was going to have effectively a control esc, which was rebadged by a few different manufacturers, the current proposal will therefore be able to include any old speedy that has no advance timing as long as its nominated and accepted and put onto the list

Chris here the receiver you were asking about, I doubt you will find it cheaper than this but if you do let me know, I'll get one too.

No worries, but if Brendan is right you may be well advised to contact Futaba and make sure that the receiver will work with a radio you bought in Australia. Don't bother with Toy Traders go direct to Japan/US support service and ask them. I haven't had any trouble, but my radio came from the US, but I do use receivers that I purchased here.

$111 is still bloody expensive, considering I got my radio with receiver for $150 from Tower 3 years ago.
