If you want, but you may have to run with the stock guys. You may actually find that there isn't much advantage running mod at Ryde, but hey have a go! You never ever know if you never ever try.

I have loaded some images onto Flikr if you want to have a look. They are just ones I had on my PC, I have others and will get to them when I get time. If you have any you would like posted send them to myself or Roman and we can get them up for you. When I get time I will also create a link on the website.

Nick - alternatively .. there might be a combined mod class- e.g. mod trucks & 2wd together?

Yep, no worries.

I think you will find current day cars will outnumber vintage on Sunday more than likely.

Yes, i agree Yung.

There probably will not be enough entries for Mod Truck and 2wd Mod to run separately.

What does everyone think the minimum should be to run separately and not be combined with another class ? . . . 3, 4, or more ???

I thought since Wayne Dickerson has been kind enough to take pictures of our cars i would include one of his car for a change .

Taken at the St.Ives Challenge Cup in 2008 .

Sorry Wayne it's not very clear . . . my camera is not as big as yours.

Trent, try using my Venom Temp Monitor this weekend so you can get an accurate idea of what temp the motor is at when it is actually on the track, much more accurate than touching it and going "yow that's hot!"

or you can get a supa dupa temp sticker off me, just stick to the motor has various temp panels which change colour, stops any embarrassing comments like " is that a temp gun in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me"
ONLY $5
would like to give them away but I'd like to recoup some of the money, I had to buy a pack of 10 and I only have 2 brushless motors

Thanks Roman,
nice to see the car in action.

Here is a pic of my twin fan. Must say it is a bit slow in velocity and doesn't feel like a huge amount of air is circulating, might have to look at higher velocity fans. 17.5s get toasty, mine was running well up between 70-80degC.
Never had an issue with the 13.5 did not even run a fan.

A question to the guys running B4's, what weight oil do you run in your shocks? I have no idea what's in mine so going to do a rebuild before sunday. Also if any truck racers are reading this, what should i be using in my MF2.

Steve, that BK2 arrived on Monday, I'll pick it up 2mo and let you know what I have for you.
