Trent was at the track today and compacted a couple of areas.

We'll need to order a skip bin soon to clean up the junk pile at the back as per council's request.

Big thanks to Trent for his hard work! Trent did most of the work today however i will be out there tomorrow arvo from about 12 till 3 finishing a bit of compacting he couldnt finish today.
Track will be then be good to go for Sundays race day!

So the bigger idle gear in a laydown 3 doesn't change the internal ratio at all. It's the same. In a 3 gear configuration only the outside gears change the ratio. I'm guessing the weight difference would be very little since they're plastic.
I think I'll go with the laydown so I can move the rear shocks around.

We had a great warm up event on Sunday, thanks to all who attended!

Members, please don't think that you have to be a top class driver to enter the titles event. This event is also a great opportunity for the newer or less skilled drivers to measure their driving skills up against some of Australia's top drivers. Will also be a great opportunity to experience a proper sanctioned event run on our home soil.

Hey all,

Please have a look at the schedule for the event, please note the different start times for each day (Saturday start time is slightly earlier than the Sunday).

Also, regarding the Sticky Kicks V2 control goop. They will be available from Friday from myself (come see me).
I will make a checklist to ensure everyone gets some (even if you are not there friday).
Half Bottle ($5) will easily last one guy the entire weekend.
Full bottles ($10) will be plenty for 2 guys to share for the entire weekend.
Also... bring an old (or your worst enemies) toothbrush to help apply the goop to the tyre as this seems the most widely used method

Regarding entry payment, if anyone has an overpayment due to multiple staggered entries where you are charged the first class entry fee more than once then please let me know and I will refund the difference.
I've already reimbursed a couple of people who were charged for their first entry twice.

We have leftover Jconcepts tyres from the State Titles for sale at the track tomorrow.
Ryde members will be given a discount as below;

Buggy rear (barcodes v1) and buggy 4wd front tyres (barcodes) - $12 per pair

Stadium truck (3d's) and SCT (barcodes) - $17 per pair

Sticky kicks V2 tyre goop - $10 bottle

1mm of rain predicted overnight, won't effect racing tomorrow. Going to be a good day for it! Thanks Trent for doing track prep!
