Looks like a great deal Nat, I might have a serious look at it myself.

Saturday was a landslide victory over Sunday, so racing is on Saturday for this weekend, starting after lunch time.

See you all there for what should be a great race day, finishing under lights, the usual 2 qualifiers and 3 finals.

Mums everywhere will be happy !

Default Entries Open - club series round 2, Maitland. 29th May

Hey Fellas,

Just letting you all know that entries are now open for round 2 of the club series being held at Maitland on 29th May.

Entries have been already open for 5 days and so far we only have 1 Ryde member entered.

If you raced at the castle hill club series round 1, then please enter again for maitland to keep up your personal pointscore for the series.

Anyone who raced round 1 at casso but cant make Maitland, let us know as im sure someone will be willing to take your place.

Also, Ryde club has a certain number of spots reserved in each class, which we didn't fill the quota for in all the classes in the last round, refer below for open spots;

2wd stock still has 1 club reserved spot open to a new entrant who didn't race round 1.
2wd mod had 2 club reserved spots not filled in round 1, i know of 2 top mod drivers who would fill this void nicely...
4wd stock had 3 club reserved spots not filled in round 1, only 1 driver represented us in this class, im sure we can get 3 more entries from you guys for this class?
4wd mod had 2 club reserved spots not filled in round 1, we have some good mod drivers who could fill these spots also who didn't race in round 1.

We have only 2 days left to fill all our reserved spots, after that they are opened up for any club to fill and we may lose them, so get your entries in ASAP. Thanks guys.

Results are now on the club website for last nights racing (Saturday 7th May)

http://www.sydneyrc.com/results.php

Thanks Roman for running the meet!

Oh yeah... we now have 1500 pages in this Ryde thread! Good job guys, pretty sure its the biggest thread on the Australian racing part of the site. Looking back at random pages, it just goes to show how much info we are all willing to part with to assist our fellow racers

Cheers,

Grant M

Racing this Saturday night the 14th.
Open timed practice from 5pm, then a three final racing format.
http://alycat.com/AlycatRC/OnlineEnt...ectMeeting.php

Also an invite for club members to drop by an hour early to have a go of the club's new 100kg plate compactor.
The front straight can always do with a little more flattening.

Jimmy working hard at his pit table.

Great place to start mate. No clue on tires just yet. I have been told JC 3d have been quite good on the new surface.

try also a pro setup/base setup also and go from there. Use the lap timer on your radio if you have that function

Wow! That's from the vault that photo on the start line!! That old Losi was a handful - kept Edwards on his toes. Looking forward to racing Saturday night coming up!

Dennis the owner is closing down in a couple weeks and is looking to offload his stock . he has bargains on everything and especially on tires short coarse and buggy.1/10 and 1/8. Sad to see him go as it was so conveniant for me.
