If you look at the calendar there should be a Sunday meeting scheduled for the 4th weekend in May even though it's not on the front page.

True, might be a low turnout for the Mother's day meeting, plus I'm scheduled to work unfortunately so it will not go ahead unless Nick can run race control.

I will attempt to run this coming Saturday starting at 4pm.
Hopefully we'll get enough entries to run a condensed meet.
It'll be two qualifiers and one final.
I'll ask those that attend if they want to run a longer final, maybe 8 to 10 minutes.

There isn't a meeting on the last weekend in May as it is the Maitland CS round.

Does anyone run a 10.5 in mod ? would it be competitive ? Reason I ask I was running it today in my b44.1 and was suprised at how smooth and consistent my laps were.

On a club level this motor driven consistently would be ideal, you would only lose ground on the later half of the two straights

I think Stuart won 4 mod a while back with a 10.5, ultra consistent, and less strain on the car, doing the triple maybe another question

Please get your online entries in for tomorrow afternoon if you intend to race.

Remember, the format for Saturday racing will be 2 x 5 minute qualifiers and 1x 10 minute
final, don't forget to gear your vehicles correctly for the 10 minute final.

I've noticed more major events in the USA are running extended finals, if they can do it
then so can we.

If we start getting more numbers on Saturday then I'd like to have a minimum of 2 bump ups for B and C finals as well, and I am thinking of limiting the numbers in the finals to 8 drivers, this would make it more interesting and helps a little to spread the marshals.

The buggy classes are open, even though the Alycat entry says otherwise.

You can run whatever motor you want to in all the trucks too.

Start time is 4pm.

Help with sweeping the track before racing will be needed and appreciated.

How do you keep track of point scoring for end of year placings when you have all the classes mixed together ?

Racing is still on tonight.
I'll be able to confirm if the track received any rain when i get there this afternoon, unless a local can let me know sooner.

Talking to Nick it seems that Ryde didn't get too much rain at all, and it's windy so the track should be good after a sweep.

Sunday point score will stay the same as there have been no changes but due to lack of interest in Saturday racing we have had to change the format, so the Saturday point score will change to be 2wd Open Buggy, 4wd Open Buggy, Stadium Truck Open, SCT Open.

There has only been one Saturday meet this year so far anyway.

Also the current point score will be uploaded soon.

Cool thanks roman that'd be great if you could, I'm bringing a friend along so we can have an extra pair of hands for marshalling.
