It probably for the better good. I wouldn't want my nice shiny b44.2 to get all muddy after one run

Thanks for the update Nick.

I'll miss not only the RC but hanging out with all the Ryde Drivers.

Will, that Losi RTR truck is a very good deal.
It comes with a sensored ESC and motor which makes it even better value.
I wonder if the ESC can handle a 10.5 ?
Would have been a super deal if it could.

Unfortunately it says 13.5T limit in the specs

I ordered a Small box and it left on the 21st and I recieved it on the Friday.

Dont forget we had the Easter Long weekend Will, things get a lil backed up for the post office, but I am sure you will have it this week.

Probably even tomorrow.

Sometimes it is exactly 7 days to my door and other times it is as much as 3-4 weeks. Generally, If you arent paying the premium for the express services, you have to give things at least 4 weeks before flagging it as a potential problem. In my experience, when things have gone 'missing' or take ages to arrive - 99% of the time it is Australia post's fault. Thats the first place Id go on week 5 if you havent received your package.

I know waiting isnt that fun but the anticipation is what makes things so good when the day comes.

guys what hobbyking esc are people using in mod 4wd? I'm thinking of selling my viper as its not the R edition and its getting hot in 4wd. I'm also going to get a 7.5t motor from hobbyking as they are only like $30

7.5t ?? Ambitious!! Not alot of grip on the track to handle what a 7.5t dishes out. I seem to be doing a moderate time with a 10.5t, and that's with EPA at 90%

Like that your not scared of having a go though, see ya next week!

Cheers

that was a typo it was meant to be 8.5t lol. But anyway the hobbyking escs look really good. The motors look exactly like the reedy motors.

Try the X-Car 120a, it is, like many of their ESCs a re-badged Hobby Wing 2.1, just make sure you get the USB link as well, if you don't already have a Hobby Wing programming card.

The motors may look like Reedy and they may well even come from the same factory, but they don't like heat as much as a Reedy (in my experience). Saying that I have an X-Car 8.5 that I have done my best to fry but with no success, yet.
