I reckon by the time you option up the cheaper cars with all the "must have" bits, all the kits will come to roughly the same price.
The main reason why the "premium" kits are more expensive is because they come with many of the must have hopups as standard.

I will be race director tomorrow for the last points meeting of the year.

The Sunday after (16th) will be the endurance race and presentation of trophies.

The track is full of loose rocks at the moment and will need to be raked, shoveled, and swept before we start racing at 10:00am.

Sweeping alone with brooms will not be enough, so we will need many volunteers tomorrow morning.

All loose rocks collected will have to be taken off the track with the two wheelbarrows behind the stand.

Someone will need to walk the track and repair any loose pipe and stakes with hammer in hand.

I will not start racing until the track preparation has been done.

Thanks in advance to all those that will help in the morning.

Also for anyone after batteries.

I will have 2 of these at the Track tomorrow. All I am asking is the Hobbyking Price $29.93, lets just round it to $30.

These are brand new, never used, delivered 2 weeks ago for a buggy that never was.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

Ill be sitting with Reedy & Joel most likely behind race Control.

Good run today, more of a fun run, than competitive racing, with only a small turn out. Thanx Roman for your assistance this year. Much appreciated. See you guys for presentation day next weekend with Enduro.

Cheers

Thanks Roman for running today.

Yeah it was a good bit of fun non serious racing. Had a mad battle with the Other Will at the back of the pack in Pro2. Still cant drive the 22SCT though.

yeah +1 on a good day of fun especially battling the other Will . Also thanks for everyone at our table for lending me stuff. Lastly thanks to Roman, Nick and Shane for a good 3 months (thats how long i have been racing for) of racing. Also one other thing, reedy why didn't you get a koshyo rb5 sp2 wc? They are cheaper then a dex210 at nbhc...

Snape had gone home, and my negative wire came off, not to take anything away from him tho.....The track definetly suited 17.5 rather then the higher powered motors.

Will - Most of the mod guys at our club run the Dex210, so it's easier to copy setups and get parts locally on the day.

Great Day had, thanks Roman for running race control, Will we see results on the SydneyRC website as it was such a small meet? or can i just get a copy sent to my email? [email protected]

Cheers,

Results will be up tonight, I didn't see Roman's email till this morning. Sorry I couldn't be there yesterday, I was a bit.....let's just say I couldn't leave home.

Also, thanks again Roman for your help with Jasper's party on Saturday a truly mammoth effort turning up on Sunday for more punishment. So far the damage bill is under $100 but I still have two more cars to check. Good news though is that at least three of the boys will be getting SCTs for Xmas and two of them are keen to come to racing, so we may actually get a Novice class up and running. Also got asked if we could do a similar party by two other parents, my price to do that again: $10,000 minimum! Want to split it Romey?

No worries Nick , thanks.
I take it you refused the invitation to run 2 more kids RC parties ?

With yesterday's results I forgot to Change the date in the reports title, it's from the last meeting, sorry for any confusion caused.
