Thanks, I'll do that next time. I thought about it but didn't know if it was bad for the track or not.

Cheers,

Clean the parts and then get a glass mirror and some brasso and polish the rings till they are like glass then build it and make sure u run it in and then re-tighten if it needs it

You don't have to polish the diff plates, just sand them with 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper to get them flat
this video explains all you need to know, also get ceramics balls if you can, they last longer

My mum said i can get the whole package, car, motor esc etc since my birthday is on the 23rd of December. My question is though, what the motor limits for 2 mod and 2 stock i cant see them on the website (might not be looking hard enough)

Took the new TLR 22SCT to the track and had a ball, this thing is way better then my SC10 ever was.

Was having a ball till the 3rd Battery Pack when I thought the Ball Diff had packed it in and started barking.... Got home and found one of my motor connectors had broken off (hobbywing 10.5t uses Bullet Connectors. Cant save it there is not even a solder point to use or try and repair it with....

So Now I need a new 10.5T motor, gonna see what Dennis has available.

Go through the rules on AARCMCC website http://www.aarcmcc.org/downloads.html

You might want to talk to some owners of TLR22s before you get one, they are pretty finicky.

I doubt very much it is irreparable, put some pics up of the damage. If it is this model http://www.hobbywing.com/uploadfile/.../XE-105T-1.jpg it should be fairly straightforward.

Yeah I also got a pm from the guy that won states at ryde the other weekend saying that the tlr22 isn't great. Im now looking at the ae b4.1 worlds car. Looks nice. I also like the koshyo rb5 but it's quite pricey

I think your right Nick, what I thought was broken metal actually looks alot like a broken solder connection.

Will try tonight to actually solder the wire into place.

On another note, I posted in the main Aus Thread, but does anyone in here know who sells the B-Fast Diff kits locally (as in Aus)?

Interesting, I love my 22 and dont find it particularly hard to work on or to drive.

I found it was easier to go faster and easier to drive the my SC10 ever was.
