Hi Dean, I was just having the same problem... I figured out what seems to be the issue:

I can't post links on this forum yet, but I'll explain. The web address that you see in your browser bar when following the sydneyrc online entries link will have "/WebSite" in the middle. Delete that portion of the address and try again. Solved the problem for me, hopefully that works for you too. I seem to have successfully entered the novice class as Josh Schuberth... if anyone can confirm we will know it works!

By the way, if anyone has the ability to change the link on the sydneyrc.com site it might help the newcomers...

By the way, whoever has the power... I just looked at the entries and I've somehow managed to enter once incorrectly (that was my fault... I had my name in the wrong section), and twice correctly! I tried to fix my mistake and somehow messed up even more

I've tried deleting my entry but it don't wanna play nice. Sorry.

If anyone knows how to fix that let me know. Sorry for being a Noob!

Cheers to nick and everyone who ran race control and canteen. Cant believe the turnout for 2wd. Busy day. Track was great. Heaps of air time on the double/triple.
Good luck to everyone at states.

I 2nd that! Had a great time out for my first race meeting and was really impressed with the whole thing. Track was awesome. Thanks to everyone who gives up their time to let us have our fun. You did a great job with such a big turnout. Big thanks to Dave Freeman for helping me out all day... It was a brilliant first experience and I'll be back for more after the states.

Good luck all! Josh Schuberth.

I sound so stupid for sayin this. I shouldnt of been a dick before, but guys since my motor smoked after 4 runs, do you think Dennis would help me at all (I bought the motor from him.) I'm scared its going to be awkward but I think I should man up and just call him?

I know a person in the business of selling RC products to a wide segment of the community. He often says, "The only good thing about selling to racers is they don't ask for warranty when it's their fault."

If the motor failed with no help from you then it's warranty. If you did anything at all to make it smoke then you're in the market for a new motor, or at least new parts.

I would normally say yes but since three pages back, you said you pluged the esc into the battery the wrong way and smoke was coming out of the motor too I highly doubt you will get warranty on a motor with the wrong polarity pluged in.
But you never know

I would take the whole car to him, that way if there is a problem with the car he will spot it and not have you smoke another motor.

edit, just seen post where you smoked it by connecting up incorrectly. To even consider taking something back after you know you did something wrong is well umm "being a dick"
